Off to a flying start

Being the last day of January already i realize how fast this year is buzzing by & i have so many goals i wish to achieve this year.

Last year was all about coping and getting through each day without much choice in things we did, Especially Aaliyah.

I look at what last year must have been like for Aaliyah and that poor wee girl must have been put through so much.

We relocated twice last year and that alone is a lot for a wee chicken.
Once from S.A to Brisbane then to Airlie Beach.
She wasn't involved in any playgroups or activities and that so guts me deeply, that was'nt by choice either we just couldn't get her to these things being in Australia and in our situation.

If you know Aaliyah you will no how much of a social butterfly she is and how crazy active she is as well.

This year we are off to a great start.

Aaliyah is enrolled in Jazz and Bambino Beats music and dance class, Plus Swimming lessons that start this Friday.. And after just starting the Jazz she is just loving it.
Its beautiful to watch and very heart warming.

Myself personally I'm taking some time for myself this year

I have weight to move and strength to gain.
With bad health i need to get my body into its best possible form  and give my body a bloody good fighting chance at life at my best.

I have joined the gym, Which i am absolutly loving.
(Remembering i spent a whole lot of last year in Hospital & on bed rest for the rest so basically all muscles etc are really weak or non existent).
Its going to take time to slowly build all that back up.
And i must say after a C-Section the whole stomach is so damaged Muscles etc all being cut. That is what i have found personally in comparison to a Natural Birth anyway.

I am going for long regular walks really enjoying taking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery that surrounds us.

I am eating much healthier and have completely cut out White and Wholemeal bread only eating Sourdough which i so love.

I must admit i still drink, jeez lets get real here i deserve a good bevy.

I have tackled my Sewing machine i got for xmas and am off to a excellent start at what i aim to achieve this year with that.

I'm back using my Camera daily and looking at different angles options with that.

And we as a family are finally catching up on round the house things that have been sidelined for so long.

It feels so good & the most important part is the positive attitude that comes with it.

Next on the list is to try making new more exciting things to eat & explore options with a very fussy & such a small tiny eater Aaliyah.

You only get one life after all dont you !!! :)

il leave you with this :)

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” - Steve Jobs
