Toddler Tamer

My daughter Aaliyah is into her third week of Pre school (Child care in Australia) & i must say she is totally thriving .

We both knew she was more than ready to take the step into Pre school but just didn't realise how much she would benefit from it.

The difference in attitude & temperament has been really noticeable.

Aaliyah is a hugely active child who loves to do things & be occupied all the time & has been this way from the moment she could crawl so having her just at home with me most of the time has hindered her growth to some extent, and as bad as that sounds its actually the truth as children learn so much from others and absorb a lot so with my health being poorly that has got to effect the wee midget to a certain degree.

Picking up the habits from other children her age can be both positive and negative & although there has been a couple of odd "words" pop out of her mouth there has been a lot of Positives come out some examples being

# Picking up more after herself & putting things away

# Appreciating Mummy more from having a break away

# Singing

# Making friends with other children her age

# the biggest would be eating !!!!

Aaliyah has been such a wee nibbler from word go & i have tried over and over again without much success getting her to eat simple things like sandwiches.. to which i have been surprised to find out she has now been eating.

Twice a week the little Minnie goes & then continually for the rest of the week all i hear about is when is preschool next .

We are looking forward to the Water Park at the Preschool opening up in the next few weeks as it looks fabulous.

Teachers are genuinely helpful and the overall vibe has been so positive & enriching we are extremely happy in the choice we made to send Aaliyah Rose there
