Its Birthday Season at our House again!
Its rolled around so quick & we will soon have a 5 & 7 year old!!!!
That means firstly i have Children!
Therefore must be somewhat of an adult right!!! and that its 7 years iv been caring for little tippy toes plodding around the house & we have survived thus far!

Wow i just first pumped to that one .

Now our Loved ones would be able to tell you We/I just love any excuse to have a Party or Celebrate an occasion !
Its what we do!

But every year i tell people ohhh next year we wont do Parties we are going to have a year off!
Then by the time Birthday's roll around i end up doing yet another Party!
Don't get me wrong i enjoy it !

I love planning things and also finding/creating things but the big thing is that gets me every single year and is my selling point =

When our Children look back on there Childhood will they remember that awesome Barbie or Lego set we got them? Well maybe!
But id like to think they would look back and remember these Epic Birthday Parties they had & shared with loved ones & remember the Love & Joy they felt x

Also in the bigger picture they really are only little for such a short time so why not Celebrate!

Life can be all to serious & Life is a Blessing not a Given!
Who knows what could happen tomorrow so lets live for today !!!

So this year i am going down a totally different path.

We have decided to give the Girls a combined Birthday Party seeing there Birthday's are only 4 weeks apart & seeing the Girls have quite a few mutual friends or siblings of friends.

So the Princess Party planning & prep is underway.

When having Parties there is absolutely nothing worse than being stressed and not enjoying it on the day!
It takes away from the magic and sparkle of the day if the host isn't able to relax and enjoy it with the quests!
Ok maybe I'm going a little far in regards to the relaxing but at least enjoy the day ...

I used to get so stressed out before a Party and put so much pressure on myself, purely because i just wanted everything to be perfect and run smoothly for the Girls .

Planning ahead is the key..

Do as much as you possibly can in the lead up to the Party!

First of all when planning a Party i find it helpful to come up with a theme this doesn't need to be something like Frozen or Batman it can be as simple as a Baby Blue theme.

Once a theme has been decided i then work out what i can make myself to keep costs down & also to give it my personal touch which in turn makes it unique to us!

One of those things is making my own invitations .

In the weeks leading up to a party you can get all your Party Supplies sorted and make up your Loot Bags (if you choose to do loot bags not all do & thats fine parties can be big & small but still need lots of planning).

Another important part to planning your party is the "Cake" which is another cost saver if you can attempt to make your own like i do ...

Remind yourself that being afraid of things going wrong isn't the way to make things go right. If its made with love no matter what it looks like your Child will love it !

and with that most of all have fun
Because when you love someone all your saved up wishes start coming out ....
